Grow up people. Don't outsource your brains to nitwits or discredited tools.

One of your tribe(other HR consultant) in his blog, is seeking IIT/IIM grads _only_ for an opening, as if the rest of the folks out there are morons.
Who are we to deride other's tastes, beliefs & entry criteria??
well for me the difference in both these cases are easy and simple :-)
ReplyDeleteAn IIT/IIM grad has done it because of his/her effort , no matter how 'elitist' it sounds.
If a firm chose to select me on the basis of factors out of my control like the time of my birth, then they are nitwits !
The point worth considering here is that factors which are beyond the control of an individual should not influence hiring decision.
